The boys sure love their see-saw, and not just because it comes with a beverage service.

Mr. Napkinface

A few weeks ago, I started putting a napkin on my face, securing it in place with glasses, and entertaining the boys as "Mr. Napkinface". They loved it.

Well, today, Gabe said he wanted to be Mr. Napkinface. I thought he was saying he wanted me to do it. Well, in actuality, he wanted to do it himself. So he asked for my help and "Little Mr. Napkinface" was born.

So very cool...

Blowing bubbles

Gavin loves bubbles. I mean LOVES bubbles. And, because he thinks he is 15, he thinks he can do anything. Of course, he thinks that you are supposed to blow bubbles with your nose, not your mouth.

So he gets soapy, and doesn't make many bubbles, but when he does he sure is proud.

Blue Lagoon

The boys love the beach. Well, this year we aren't going, but that doesn't mean the water at home can't be blue.

All that's missing is the sunset...

Playground fun

One of the great things about the boys getting a little older is watching them interact with their environment more. And, by 'environment', I mean toys and playgrounds of course.

Now, going out to eat is determined by the place that has the coolest playground for the boys to go crazy on.

All decisions should be so simple...

The Blues Brothers

Gabe loves to play the guitar and is a real music maker. He will sing songs, play guitar, drums, maraccas (or "baraccas" as he calls them), or any other instrument he can find or create. He even picked up the harmonica for a while. He enjoys the weekly music class at his school and runs around the house yelling "I'm a ROCKSTAR!" It cracks me up! We found a new music store near the house, and he's crazy about wanting to stop in and look at the guitars.
Gavin loves to imitate Gabe on a regular basis. They drum together and strum together and laugh away the hours. The struggle to share the many musical toys they own. Here they are during an afternoon JAM SESSION in the kitchen, complete with hats from the hat drawer and sunglasses from Gramma in FL. Too cute. Another one of Mommy's favorite photos!
