Being a Tourist

As a Christmas gift to our family we got passes to the Brand NEW Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. We visited for the first time in January hoping that the crowds had died down some after a November 2005 grand opening, but it was still pretty packed. We made a day of it and had a ball anyways! Gabe loved all the pretty fishies!!

This was the tropical area and the viewing space was probably a 30 ft window to containing all kinds of tropical fish. There were even 2 divers putting out food for them which really drew them all closer to the window for our viewing pleasure.
It was a great time and we hope to go back soon and show Daddy. (He had to work)

Ridin' Around in my Automobile

Gabe has now gotten big enough to ride facing forward in his stroller and he loves it. This was his first ride and he was amazed at all of the cool things he saw. He is getting so big and will turn 1 on February 24. Mommy and Daddy can't believe it!!

Tool time Gabe

This weekend, Jules and her Aunt T took it upon themselves to strip the wallpaper from Gabe's bathroom so they can paint. Well, in the midst of it all, Gabe decided he wanted to help, so he crawled over to the ladder and just started climbing.

While this was cute and we had a good laugh...I think I need to revisit what we consider 'childproofed'. ;-)

Yeah...that's not dangerous...

Gabe's new girlfriend

Gabe has a new girlfriend...and Jules has an extra set of hands around the house. Katie is a friend of the family who will be helping Jules out around the house and with Gabe. She's been over quite a bit, and things just worked out for us to formalize the relationship somewhat, make all of our lives a lot easier.

"She's seen me naked!"

Happy New Year!

Gabe and Wilbur want to wish everyone a very happy new year. Jules, on the other hand, doesn't want to be anywhere near the camera at the time this photo was taken. One thing is for sure though....Gabe loves the New Years' paraphenalia. The 'clapping hands' that he is holding is his new favorite, and watching him try to make it work is priceless.
