Quack quack

We have hit the age where Gavin is now just as into the Wiggles as Gabe. The picture is Gavin doing the second half of the "Quack quack, cock-a-doodle doo" dance. Gavin is quite the rooster, which I guess makes Gabe the duck.

Farm boys

The boys' weekends are generally experiments in keeping them occupied. Well, they took turns driving and riding in their motorized tractor.

And, in the end, Gavin seems to be the one that likes driving more. For one thing, he actually steers. Gabe has a tendency to just push on the gas and run into things. Which is why he got relegated to passenger in this case...

Sccoter daredevil

Gavin, at 21 months, is utterly fearless. He watches everything Gabe does and just has to do the same. Which causes more than a few 'oh goodness' moments, even for me. This morning, he decided he would ride the scooter that Gabe got for his 3rd birthday.

I guess I need to invest in helmets.

Beds

Well, the boys are finally sharing a room, but now Gabe keeps getting out of bed in the middle of the night and crawling into bed with me. So I get woken up by tiny feet kicking me or because he grabs my neck in a spontaneous hug.

This morning finds both Gabe and Gavin lying in bed and dancing in place to the Wiggles.

We gots the sillies at Chili's

Taking the boys to dinner is always a hoot. They are at the age where they want to interact with everything and everyone. And they play with each other like crazed monkeys.

For example, now that Gabe is using the big-boy potty, they go nutso flushing the toilets. And throwing food. And tossing forks on the floor. But then, out of the blue, they do stuff like make crazy faces and it is all fun again.

Springtime bike ride

Well, it's Springtime in Atlanta, and that can only mean one thing: time to play outside with the boys.

Gabe loves riding his 'trikecycle', and so that is a frequent request. However, the other day he got on a friend's two-wheel bike (with training wheels) and rode like a champ. It might just be time to upgrade...
