He was supposed to say 'Da-da' dammit

As you should be able to guess from the title, Gabe has said his first word, and it was 'ma-ma-ma-ma-ma'. For about a week, he has been making 'mmmmm mmmmm' sounds, trying so hard to make a noise. Once he started saying 'ma-ma-ma', it was impossible to get him to stop. All he wants to do is talk to mommy.

Now, as the Daddy in this particular situation, I have to admit that, while I didn't expect anything different, I secretly hoped that he would start with 'da-da'. Oh well...I guess I need to get Jules pregnant again so I can be first with that kid. Until then, I wonder if Gabe is old enough for me to bribe to start saying 'da-da'....
